Meet Kendall, Owner of The Healing Loft. With a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, a Certified Medical Exercise Specialist (CMES), and RYT-500, Kendall’s career has spanned acute care, retirement communities, and the medical device industry. Along the way, she deepened her own healing journey through reiki, chiropractic care, and yoga, and found a deep appreciation for holistic wellness.
Kendall is passionate about making yoga accessible to everyone. Through her classes, she meets different populations where they are, from expecting mothers to older adults to anyone who has ever felt that yoga wasn’t meant for them. Every body belongs on the mat.
The Healing Loft was never part of a business plan. It arrived as an unexpected opportunity, and Kendall said yes. What began as a leap of faith has become a home for the things she has always cared about: bringing diverse wellness modalities and gatherings together under one roof. It’s more than a rental space. It’s a place that can hold public classes, private sessions, workshops, celebrations, and gatherings of any kind. For Kendall, a space shared with community is a true blessing, and she is grateful to open these doors to teachers, practitioners, and neighbors alike.
** Kendall is currently on maternity leave and will resume classes in 2027

Meet Sarah Collins with Mobility with Sarah. She currently uses The Healing Loft to host several weekly Mat Pilates classes and offers private mobility sessions with her clients.
Hi, I'm Sarah! I live in VA Beach and have been practicing yoga since 2010. My yoga journey began during a challenging transition in my life, and I quickly discovered that the practice nurtured not only my body but also my mind and spirit. In 2015, I earned my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) certification, followed by Barre training in 2016. In 2019, I expanded my practice by diving into Mobility Work, focusing on hands-on stretching techniques. Most recently, in 2022, I completed my Mat Pilates certification through Stott Pilates, which has been instrumental in helping me rebuild my core strength after having three children. Pilates has become a key part of my teaching and personal practice, offering a mindful approach to building strength, flexibility, balance, and posture through controlled movements and breathwork. Pilates is a low-impact, full-body exercise that helps engage the core, deepen stretches, and enhance overall well-being. I currently teach Mat Pilates at The Healing Loft, sharing the benefits of this empowering practice with our community. Alongside my passion for yoga and Pilates, I’m an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast—I love hiking and embracing nature whenever I can. I truly believe that movement is a powerful tool for self-discovery and transformation, and I’m excited to guide you on your journey to inner and outer strength. I also offer private mobility sessions, providing personalized attention for those looking to enhance flexibility, improve mobility, and achieve their unique movement goals in a supportive, tailored environment. I look forward to meeting you on the mat and working together to build strength, resilience, and confidence—inside and out.
Sarah's classes are $15 to drop in or $55 for a 4 class pass. Want more personalized support? Private sessions are also available. Reach out today to learn more!

After 17 years as a respiratory therapist in acute care, including the demanding roles of 24/7 hospital management, Jennifer retired in 2020. Through those years, yoga quietly grounded her during the stress and intensity of hospital life—but it was in 2019, at Strala yoga retreat in Sundance, Utah that offered permission to truly turn inward, revealing it was time to create a new way of living and step into something new.
Since then, Jennifer has stepped into deeper work with embodiment, emotional mastery, and self-mastery. A registered yoga teacher since 2018, her teaching has expanded far beyond traditional yoga. Drawing from tai chi, qigong, mobility practices, and intuitive movement, she guides Embodied Flow as a space to slow down, listen inward, and discover personal resonance.
Her work—through movement, writing, and guidance—is fueled by a vision of anchored presence and resonance, where individuality and embodied expression shape the way forward.
Jennifer's classes are $15 to drop in, $50 for a 4 class pass or $120 for a 10 class pass. Want more personalized support? Small group sessions are available. Reach out today to learn more!

Meet Ayden Galindez (BSE, CYT 500), a Holistic Wellness and Movement Coach teaching Latin Dance (Sensual Bachata and Cuban Salsa), Mobility, and Yoga; all rooted in self-discovery, healing, transformation, and holistic health and well-being.
During Ayden’s time as a Software Engineer he experienced an “inner knowing” that there was more meaning and purpose to life than working his 9-5. This led him on a Hero’s Journey where he chose to embody his true self, end a 13 year engineering career, solo travel internationally, and live in the Mexican Caribbean where he focused on inner work and healing. Living in Mexico for several years, Ayden immersed himself in the culture; learning the language and discovering his love for Latin Dance as well as a new form of self-expression.
Being an extreme health and fitness enthusiast for over 20 years, Ayden ended up putting his mind and body through too much intensity (intermittent fasting, a 15 year plant-based diet, daily cold plunges, the 530 AM club, high intensity workouts, etc) that it eventually wrecked his nervous system. As the Hero’s Journey provides the opportunity to heal, it also allowed Ayden to experience extreme anxiety, depression, and a mental health crisis so he could get to know himself at a deeper level. Making use of all his tools from his Holistic Practices, Ayden was able to come out of crisis as a stronger and healthier version of himself.
Returning from his Hero’s Journey, Ayden’s intention as a Holistic Wellness and Movement Coach is to guide others in exploring their own paths of self-discovery through movement while also sharing his wisdom from lived experience. After overcoming mental health crisis, Ayden strongly values peace and slowing down; which is why he features going slow, being present, and healthy nervous system regulation in his classes.
Join Ayden and allow him to guide you as you begin to Ignite the inner King or Queen within you.
Ayden’s classes are $14 to drop in. Want more personalized support? Private, group sessions, and Latin Dance workshops are also available. Reach out today to learn more!
