What are you ready to release? Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) is a simple but surprisingly potent technique, breathing in a continuous, unbroken rhythm with no pause between the inhale and exhale. That's it!
And yet what happens in the body and mind from that alone is pretty remarkable. CCB helps quiet the thinking mind, allowing you to tap into your subconscious and shift your state, moving stuck energy and releasing stored emotion. CCB meets you where you are, and every session is unique to you. Body sensations, waves of emotion, deep calm, even psychedelic-like states. Whatever arises is yours, and it's welcome.
Benefits: Stress and anxiety release, improved emotional regulation, boosted mood, mental clarity, deep meditative states, trauma recovery and processing difficult emotions, deepened self-awareness and personal insight, expanded capacity to feel, and a deeper connection to yourself. We'll begin with grounding, followed by 20-25 minutes of active breathing guided and set to music, then close with time to rest and integrate.
What to bring: Yourself, an open mind, water bottle, and a journal if you'd like. Wear something comfortable that doesn't restrict your breathing (like tight high-waisted yoga pants). Come on a light stomach or a few hours since your last meal.
Please note — CCB is not recommended if you have: Cardiovascular issues or heart conditions, history of stroke, epilepsy or seizures, aneurysms, detached retina or glaucoma, pregnancy, recent surgery or injury, or severe mental health conditions (including schizophrenia, severe anxiety, bipolar disorder, or suicidal ideation). If you have asthma, any of the above, or any other concerns, it is recommended to consult your doctor before attending or reach out at [email protected] for questions.
About Caitlin: Caitlin Sunderland is a certified breathwork facilitator who found CCB at a time when she needed it most. Moving through trauma and feeling disconnected from herself, it was breathwork that cracked her open and started her inner work. Her intention is simple: to hold a space where you can show up exactly as you are and leave feeling more connected to yourself.

Join Kendall, owner of The Healing Loft, and Carly, owner of Waves of Change Coalition for an evening of restorative yoga and sound healing.
You’ll be guided through long-held, fully supported postures while immersed in the soothing sounds of Himalayan singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, gongs, rain sticks, and drums—designed to help the body unwind and the mind settle.
25% of proceeds from each ticket purchased will be donated to Oxford House.
Props are provided, but feel free to bring anything of your own that you'd like. Dress comfortably and come as you are.

Join Kendall, owner of The Healing Loft, as she leads us through an hour of mindful movement where everyone is welcome! The first half of class will guide you through 30 minutes of gentle yoga — accessible, beginner-friendly postures that encourage strength, ease, and presence. We'll then shift into 30 minutes of deeply restful restorative poses, fully supported by props, to invite relaxation and release. In partnership with Connect With a Wish, a local nonprofit supporting children in the foster care system, your entry fee will be a heartfelt monetary donation of your choosing.

Come spend a Sunday morning with us at The Healing Loft. We’ll be assembling Mother’s Day Care Bags for Samaritan House, filling them with self-care goodies and toiletries, then painting calligraphy affirmation cards to tuck inside. The bags will be dropped off just before Mother's Day.
Samaritan House gives women and families in our community a safe place to land when they need it most. These bags are a small way to remind them they are seen and loved. THL is covering the cost of the care items, we just need your hands and your heart.
