What amenities and equipment are included with studio rentals at The Healing Loft?
Every rental includes a complimentary 15-min setup and 15-min breakdown period. Which means if you book a 1 hour rental from 10-11am, you have the space from 9:45am - 11:15am. Please plan accordingly. If you need more set up/break down time, we recommend booking a longer rental.
When you rent the studio, you’ll have access to:
- 15 yoga mats, 18 blankets, 16 bolsters, 30 blocks, 18 straps, 15 eye masks
- 13 cushioned folding chairs + one 4-foot folding table with extendable legs
- Built-in speakers (AirPlay compatible), small tripod
- LED candles
- 2 Wall Heaters (for those who wish to host heated/warm classes & offerings)
- Cubbies, water fountain, and mini fridge with drinks for purchase
- Multiple sets of hand weights (ranging from 2lbs - 10lbs)
- 2, 6ft folding tables can be brought in upon request for a $15 fee
How do I book The Healing Loft studio space?
Click the "Rent Our Space" tab to view availability and secure your time slot. Full payment is collected at the time of booking. When you reserve your rental online, you'll complete payment and any required forms as part of the reservation process.
Can I schedule a tour of The Healing Loft before booking?
Absolutely! Email us at [email protected] to set up a studio tour. We’ll be happy to show you the space, answer questions, and help plan your event. You're also welcome to virtually tour here.
What is the max capacity of The Healing Loft?
Max capacity depends on the nature of the event. For reference, we can fit 16 yoga mats in the space. For other questions on configurations and capacity, please email us at [email protected]
What is The Healing Loft’s rental cancellation and refund policy?
Full payment is required at booking.
1-3 hour rentals:
- 7+ days notice: Full refund
- Less than 7 days notice: No refund
4-hour rentals ($110):
- 14+ days notice: $55 refund (non-refundable deposit retained)
- Less than 14 days notice: No refund
8-hour rentals ($200):
- 14+ days notice: $100 refund (non-refundable deposit retained)
- Less than 14 days notice: No refund
Any 1-3 hour rental booked fewer than seven (7) days prior to the rental date is non-refundable. Any 4-hour or 8-hour rental booked fewer than fourteen (14) days prior to the rental date is non-refundable.
NOTE: For 4-hour and 8-hour rentals, a portion of the total booking fee is considered a non-refundable deposit due to the extended time the studio is held.

Do I have to use Flamingo to host my class or workshop at The Healing Loft?
Flamingo is a client booking registration platform provided to all hosts for FREE. This is optional, but we recommend it for the following reasons:
- Online sign-ups and headcount tracking - you do none of the work
- Easier registration for attendees
- Automatically prompts clients to sign liability forms - one less step for you to do!
If you prefer, you can manage sign-ups and liability forms on your own via Eventbrite, Facebook, or other platforms. we will share your own registration link with clients through our website and Flamingo app.
What are the recurring host tier packages and how do I begin?
Tier packages are for hosts who rent 4+ times per month (i.e., once a week or more). Tiers are month to month. For more information and pricing, please click here. Email us to get started.
Is parking available?
Yes! Our building has plenty of parking so this is never something you have to worry about. You and your clients will have no issues here!
Client FAQs
How do I register for a class at The Healing Loft in Virginia Beach?
Click on our "classes/offerings" tab, go to the date of your desired class/offering, and reserve your spot online or through the Flamingo app. Pre-registering guarantees your space and helps instructors/hosts prepare for the right class size.
Can I drop in for a class, or do I need to pre-register?
Walk-ins are welcome if space is available. To guarantee your spot, we recommend booking ahead.
Special Note: Walk-in participants are encouraged to check the website before attending. As late cancellations may occur, those who haven't reserved a spot might miss important updates and notifications.
Does The Healing Loft provide yoga mats and props, or should I bring my own?
We provide mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, and eye masks at no extra cost. You’re always welcome to bring your own items if preferred!
Is parking available?
Yes! Our building has plenty of parking so this is never something you have to worry about.
